The tropical paradise of Florida has acquired many nicknames over the years. The 'sunshine state' naturally reflects the abundant amount of sunshine that falls on the peninsula; south west Florida has recorded 361 days of sunshine every year with average summer temperatures of 32 degrees.
Also known as the 'flower state', Florida supports an impressive list of flora and a wide variety of wildlife including dolphins, the iconic bald eagle and the alligator in it's natural habitat.
A paradise by nature, Florida is a haven for millions of tourists flocking to it's many attractions. Among the most famous of these are Cape Canaveral, made famous by the astronaut Neil Armstrong in 1969, the vast network of Everglades and, with the aid of a very famous mouse, Florida's Disney World which still lures more visitors than any other single attraction in the world.
Our resorts are situated half way down the west coast of this natural haven, each with it's own unique flavour and each making full use of it's natural surroundings such as Charlotte Harbour and the pristine white beaches of Sarasota.
